Are you aged 18-26 and living in Glasgow? Do you want to learn new skills, meet other young people and help shape the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens?
Glasgow Life Museums is looking for young people to join a new Youth Panel and become part of redeveloping the People’s Palace.

Make A Donation OnlineThis much-loved venue has told the stories of Glaswegians for 125 years. Reimagining the building and its displays means it will tell those stories for many more.
Thanks to the recent funding secured from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the next stage of this exciting project can begin. This much-loved attraction will reopen, unveiling a reimagined and restored museum and glasshouse.
We are delighted this transformational project will protect this invaluable cultural and heritage asset for generations to come.
The People's Palace is home to a collection of objects, photographs, prints and film which give a unique view into how Glaswegians lived, worked and played in years gone by to the present day. All set against the backdrop of historic Glasgow Green.

The accessible toilet is located to the right hand side of the building.
There is wheelchair and pram access to all public areas using the lifts and there are free wheelchairs available to hire at reception.

The museum is a 15 minute walk from Argyle Street, Bellgrove and High Street train stations.
The nearest subway station is St Enoch.
First Bus services 18, 64 and 263 stop on London Road, with services 2, 40, 60, 61, 240 and 255 stop on Gallowgate. All these services are within a couple of minutes walk to the People's Palace.
