Glasgow Life Museums provide a great day out and we aim to ensure our venues, and the programmes that run within them, are as accessible as possible.

We offer family workshops which take place in a calmer, less crowded environment with access to a quiet space. Select from the events listed below to find out more

We also have visual storyboards for each of our museum venues which can help you prepare for a visit. These include photos of a typical visitor journey through the museum, letting you know what to expect when you get there. These can be downloaded and printed as required from the icon at the bottom of this page

The Burrell Collection has a quiet room available at all time during museum opening hours. Please ask at reception for access.

We have sensory bags available to borrow at Kelvin Hall, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Burrell Collection, GoMA and Riverside Museum. These contain ear defenders and sensory/fidget toys.

ASN school and college groups can access our facilitated workshop programme which we can adapted to suit your needs. For more information on our learning programmes visit our learning pages
