This January, Samson Sounds return to Glasgow with their unique blend of contemporary global sounds and high-energy performance. Celebrating the role of migration in music, they weave rhythms from Scotland, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas into a vibrant fusion of Atlantic vibrations.

The infectious energy of GABO is built around Ambatarian Philosophy—a past-present which is secretly woven and embedded in Jang-da—the traditional African wooden xylophones. The Jang-da tradition is an almost-forgotten, ancient African philosophy that teaches us to celebrate life as an endless opportunity of eternal joy. GABO focuses on creating healing energies by sharing the love of Afrobeat, global jazz, soul, funk, and some traditional tunes from rural Africa.
